For the welfare of the citizens the State Government has invented Governmental / Grant-in-Aid / Self-Financed Industrial Training Institutes (I.T.I) under the Directorate of Employment & Training.
The Directorate General of Employment & Training, New Delhi (D.G.E.&T.) of the Ministry of Labor is to provide the Skilled Man-Power with Vocational Training for the Various Industries & Service Sectors. It is being Conducted at Different I.T.I.s including
SHALIMAR INDUSTRIAL TRAINING CENTRE, ADITYAPUR, JAMSHEDPUR
Shalimar itc is established in the year 2000 with some short term courses, but now it has a affiliation to run ITI (NCVT) courses. It is centrally located in industrial area Adityapur, Jamshedpur, so students easily get training and placement near by it and abroad.
It is the Endeavour of management to develop students intellectually, physically and morally sound in order to take their rightful place in the society. Special emphasis is laid on the development of all personality of an individual .The college follows a curriculum that includes development of the learners in the learning process.
