6 Months plant training in INDO DANISH TOOL ROOM (Adityapur, Jamshedpur) has been organized by Training & Placement cell of Shalimar ITC for Every ITI students under NCVT course after completing the 2 years course
The purpose of this Placement Department is to deliver employment related services to the ITI students. One room with proper infrastructure has been allocated for this Department in our ITI. Newspapers, magazines and books have been made available in this Department which can be helpful to the ITI trainees to get employment information. Computer and internet facility has also been provided to this Department. So that student can access employment information by precooking the computers. Training & Placement endeavors to be a bridge between the Employers and the employee. Training & Placement is functional at this Institute since 2000. Training & Placement assist the students to plan their career, help in job searching, give career counseling, organize campus interviews, provides passed out trainees data to the Industries who want to conduct Interviews at their premises, Provides details of the job opening appearing in news papers and magazines and help the students get jobs as soon as they pass-out of the ITI. Various magazines, Newspapers, Periodicals useful for career development, counseling, personality development and enhancing their competitive skill are also available in the library attached to Training & Placement. It is equipped with the Internet facility and trainees are provided access to Internet facility at very nominal rates. Professional counseling services are also made available to students. The Placement Advisor documents the information of each and every ITI student, help them prepare their curriculum-vitae and assist them in applying for jobs. Moreover, guest lectures are organized on Career related subjects by inviting Human Resource Managers and other experts from industries.
Training & Placement at last provide 100% placement record for every batch
After completing the ITI trainees can also apply to various Govt., Semi Govt. and various Private Organization like-
Sail , Bhel , Hpcl, Delhi metro, Jharkhand state electricity board, Indian railways, Beml, Bel, Tata steel, Tata motor, Bhushan power and steel , Jindal power and steel, Rsb group, Kohinoor steel , Indo danish tool room, Ntpc, Bpcl,
